- Make sure you are always learning or developing something from your job
- Establish direction and career boundaries and checkpoint constantly with that to ensure alignment
- Manage up, manage sideways and then manage down
- Don't ever underestimate the value and ultimate success of great leadersthip
- Be friendly - always
- Leadership gives the directions to the direction
- Play to your strengths
- Figure out what people are good at and let them do that
- Don't run an org as a democracy
- When you are on a dead-end, turn around and find a new way
- Always know if you are on a dead-end road
